What Is The End Of The Year Jawn?
Our annual End Of The Year Jawn is about what all of our events are about - GIVING BACK. However, we try to give back big for this special event every year. On December 12th 2020, we will be holding our 5th “End Of The Year Jawn”, a giveback created to provide the less fortunate with items they need for day-to-day use. We’ll also have catered food, designated seating areas with tables and chairs for everyone to sit and eat together - all to go along with the 350 bags filled with everyday and winter essentials. This event is a staple for The Block and it wouldn’t feel right to end the year without, but we know we can’t do it alone. We rely on the help of all our partners, sponsors, local business and all community members to help make this happen every year. Please continue to find out how you can help.
How You Can Help
The main way we call on our community is in the form of donations and there are several ways to support The Block.
If you’d like to help us help someone else, please use the link below to donate - anything & everything helps.
For “The End Of The Year Jawn” we have drop boxes placed all over the city, including The Block Shop at 6831 Torresdale Avenue. Specifically we’re looking for the following items:
• Women’s Hygiene Products
• Soap Bars
• Hand Sanitizer
• Socks, Hats & Gloves
• Chapstick
• Deodorant
• Lotion
